These policies describe how BAUTECHNOLOGY a.s. processes the personal data of website visitors and of prospective customers who complete the enquiry form. We take your privacy seriously: we collect only the data we genuinely need, and we never sell it to third parties.

1. Data controller

2. What data we process

From the enquiry form we process the data you voluntarily provide: name, telephone, email, the property address, your preferred method of contact and the message text, together with optional details about the building (property type, year of construction, masonry material and area, signs of damp) and any photographs you attach. For technical purposes we also record the date and time of submission, a hash of your IP address (we never store the IP in its original form) and the country of origin from a header supplied by the hosting provider — to protect the form against abuse.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process the data from the form for the purpose of taking pre-contractual steps at your request — so that we can contact you, prepare a quotation and arrange a consultation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Anonymous traffic measurement via Google Analytics takes place solely on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time. Consent to marketing communications is separate and voluntary.

4. Recipients and processors

We do not pass personal data to any third party for sale or advertising use. For processing we use only carefully selected processors who act on our instructions and under a data processing agreement: Vercel (website and server-function hosting), Google Analytics (anonymous traffic statistics, with consent only), Resend (sending the enquiry notification email), Neon (database for storing enquiries, in the EU), Upstash (technical protection against form flooding) and Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection, without persistent cookies).

5. We do not sell your data

As a matter of principle, we do not sell, rent or otherwise pass your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with the processors listed above, to the extent necessary to provide the service, and with public authorities where required by law.

6. Retention period

We retain enquiry data for 24 months from submission, unless the enquiry results in a contract; in that case we retain it for the period required to perform the contract and to meet legal obligations (for example, accounting and tax rules). Once the period expires, the records and any photographs are automatically deleted.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability, the right to object, and the right to withdraw a consent you have given. You may exercise your requests at info@bautechnology.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) (Czech data protection authority).

8. Cookies and analytics

Necessary cookies provide the basic functions of the website: storing your language choice (bt_locale), remembering your cookie preference (bt_consent) and your light or dark mode setting. These are stored without consent because they are essential for the website to work. We load Google Analytics only after your explicit consent via the cookie bar; until then it does not run and no analytics cookies are stored. Your IP address is anonymised in Google Analytics. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings button.

9. Language detection by country

On your first visit we estimate your country from your IP address so that we can display the website in your likely language. For this, the IP address is only read by the hosting provider's edge runtime; we do not store it, we do not build a profile from it, and we do not pass it to any other service. You can change the language at any time using the switcher in the page header.

10. International transfers

Some processors (Google Analytics, Resend) may process part of the data on infrastructure outside the EU, in particular in the USA. The transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses (SCC) and the relevant certifications. The enquiry database (Neon) is held in the EU.
